  1. Touch and hold Menu option;
  2. Then press the symbol for a while and the Reset option will come. Select Reset;

  1. Select the ↑ button and Fan, press and hold;
  2. In the left side, input 90 and in the right to 1;

  1. Select System option.
  2. Select and hold the empty box in the middle of the screen
  3. In the left, input the number 0710 and in the right side, give 1.
  4. Select Done option
  5. Wait for a while,Congratulation!.. your device  reset Successfully.

Factory reset For Honeywell 8321WF :

  1. Select Menu option;
  2. Press Dealer Information;
  3. Go to the bottom and input the date code;
  4. Select Done;
  5. Go to the Installer Option;
  6. Input the Date code;
  7. Change option in Reset to Defaults;
  8. Press Yes option;
  9. Congratulation!..reset process is complete.

How to reset a Honeywell Touch Screen Thermostat ?

Reset Honeywell Touch screen-RTH9580WF :
  1. In the top right corner of the screen, select the Menu option;
  2. Then go down and search for Preference option,Select it;
  3. Go to the sub-menu and search for Restore Factory Defaults option, then select it;
  4. When it is selected, a dialogue comes out, which wants user to verify restore;
  5. Select Yes option. It will remove all stored data;
  6. Thermostat is rebooted and it asks user to give new information;
  7. Input initial setting,you have reset your device successfully.

How to reset HoneyWell Thermostat after replacing batteries ?

1.

Turn the switch “on” to “off”

2.

To remove the batteries, place a coin/tweezers or any pointy object so that the lid of battery door opens.

3.

Carefully take out the batteries

4.

Reverse the batteries and put them again so that the negative terminal is with positive one. Wait for five seconds

5.

Take out the batteries and place them correctly. The thermostat is now reset.

What to do when a Honeywell Thermostat does not work after Reset?

If you cannot reset the thermostat by the process described above, you may try the following steps.

1.

Locate the circuit breaker in the house which is responsible of the electricity that flows to the thermostat.

2.

Switch off the circuit breaker and wait for 5 seconds.

3.

Switch it back on.
